This project is designed to support the OPA’s capability building mandate by increasing home builders' ability to adopt emerging energy efficient/ renewable energy generation technologies into production homes.

Phase 1 of the project engages local home builder associations to identify and screen new technologies and to disseminate the results to the building community. Phase 2 engages with individual builders to pilot some of the new technologies indentified in the earlier phase. The outcome of both is a technology adoption model that can be replicated across the province and integrated into future conservation programming.
